here's a tough nut because of the difficulty to describe the problem: the display on-screen is somehow wrong; the colour is there, but the forms are gone, meaning I see blotches and not pictures. The text on-screen is also not-readable, not on login screen nor in my personal space, once logged-in. The ubuntu dash is there but the icons are unrecognizable, and I open them by knowing by heart what is where - otherwise I'd be lost. After I open a browser, or LibreOffice, or any other program - all is well, they just function and are displayed correctly. The problem is in the system, but I cannot troubleshoot where. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
