Correcting volume difference between Zone A and

Zone B

If you are bothered by volume difference between Zone A/B, perform the following
procedure to adjust the volume for Zone B.
Note
Slide the Zone switch to “ZONE A” in menu operations.

Press OPTION.

Use the cursor keys to select “Volume Trim” and press ENTER.

Use the cursor keys to select “ZoneB Trim” and adjust the setting.
Setting range
-10.0 dB to +10.0 dB (0.5 dB increments)

Press OPTION.
This completes the settings.
Note
This setting is not effective when “ZoneB Volume” in the “Setup” menu is set to “Async.”. For details, see the
following:
“Adjusting the volume for Zone B in conjunction with the volume for Zone A” (p.94)

Adjusting the volume for Zone B separately

You can separately adjust the volume for Zone B using the remote control.
Note
Slide the Zone switch to “ZONE A” in menu operations.

Use the cursor keys to select “Sound” and press ENTER.

Use the cursor keys to select “Volume” and press ENTER.

Use the cursor keys to select “ZoneB Volume” .

Use the cursor keys to select “Async.” and press ENTER.
Note
When “ZoneB Volume” is set to “Async.”, the volume for Zone B is temporarily set to -40 dB.

Press SETUP.

Slide the Zone switch to “ZONE B”.

Press VOLUME to adjust the volume for Zone B.
Note
To mute the audio output to Zone B, press MUTE.
