Washer doesn’t start can’t even Open The lid : checked power on the outlet ( and has power)
I have the Whirlpool top loading model #WTW7120HW washing machine, and every time the water fills the tub and goes into the wash cycle, there's a loud "clunk" in the pipes. Checked the basement pipes and everything seems to be OK. This only makes the "clunk" noise when the washing machine is running, not the dishwasher, or faucets. And this never happened with my old Maytag washer.
