The washing label of your garment shows the recommended washing temperature.
It is not necessary to use an anti-scaling agent. Scale deposits can be prevented by limiting washing at high temperatures and using the recommended amount of detergent per wash.
Unpleasant odours can be avoided by occasionally washing at 60 degrees and using the recommended amount of detergent per wash.
Ensure that the power cord is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet and that the machine's lid is securely closed as the machine will not start unless these conditions are met.
Confirm that the water supply valves behind the machine are fully turned on. Inspect the inlet hoses for any kinks or blockages which may be preventing water flow.
Check that all four leveling feet are adjusted properly to ensure the machine is level on the floor surface. Uneven placement can lead to excessive vibration.
Ensure that the load size is appropriate for the selected cycle, as overloading can result in poor spinning performance. Additionally, make sure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged and that the drain pump is functioning correctly.
Check if the machine is in the correct cycle for agitation. Some programs, such as the delicate or handwash cycles, do not involve agitation. Also, make sure the lid is closed properly, as the machine will not agitate if the lid is open.

Question and answer
Number of questions: 179Does machine need the bottom legs or can they be removed? Is any clearance needed on the underside of the machine? My laundry room has a built-in riser for frontload machines, which this is not. The riser is not as deep as the machine and the front legs are balancing on the edge of the riser. I am concerned the machine will fall forward and to the ground when an unbalanced load makes the agitation of the machine severe. It almost happened yesterday.

The Whirlpool WTW5105HW washing machine requires the bottom legs and they should not be removed. It is important to make sure that the washer is level to reduce excess noise and vibration. You can adjust the leveling feet using adjustable pliers to lower or raise the washer as needed. It is recommended to check the levelness of the washer using a level on the top edges and front lid. If the washer is not level, repeat the adjustment process until it is level. Additionally, make sure to plug the washer into a grounded 3 prong outlet. The installation location should have a level floor with a maximum slope of 1 inch and should support the washer's total weight. The washer should not be installed in temperatures below 32°F (0°C) or exposed to weather. The drain system can be installed using a floor drain, wall standpipe, floor standpipe, or laundry tub, depending on your specific setup. Make sure that the drain hose is securely attached and that no more than 4.5 inches of the hose is inside the standpipe or below the top of the wash tub.

Wipe the dispensers with a damp cloth to remove any residue build-up. Do not try to remove the dispensers or trim for cleaning. 2. If your model has a dispenser drawer, take out the drawer and clean it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let it air dry before putting it back in place. To clean the outside of the washer: 1. Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to clean up any spills. 2. Use mild soaps or cleaners when cleaning the external surfaces of the washer. Avoid using abrasive products to avoid damaging the washer's finish. Remember to only operate the washer when you are at home.
