To remove the front cover that holds the charcoal filter of the Whirlpool WMH31017HZ microwave, follow these steps: 1. Begin by removing the two screws that hold the cover in place. 2. Once the screws are removed, tilt the cover forward and lift it out. 3. With the cover removed, you can now access and replace the charcoal filter if necessary. 4. To reattach the cover, insert the three bottom latch hooks of the vent cover into the front holes. 5. Tilt the vent cover backwards, slide it to the right, and secure it with the screws.
This answer is automatically generatedI know to 1st slide the grill cover left but it will not budge. Could this be due to the installation? Is it too snug against the cupboard it is attached to...just grasping at straws as to why the grill won't budge...
Wmh31017hz stove light bulb burned out been replaced, not working, remove socket tested and works, is there a fuse or panel circuit to button needs replaced ?
I accidentally touched the picture resembling a 3-leaf clover on the bottom right front of my microwave. Touching the picture caused it to begin an operation of some sort. I was finally able to stop that; but, now my cook/time, etc. will not function. How do I restore the original functions on my touch pad?
How does one work the "defrost" function? What are these "codes" it asks for. All I see on the microwave is 1 Meat, 2 Poultry, and 3 Fish. These are too strong for delicate items. How do you defrost herbs or 6 pieces of bacon?
My new microwave will not power up. Wall receptacle is hot. Not sure why it will come on when plugged in.
Can I set my own time when using the Reheat option? I don't want to use the pre-set codes for reheating, I want to select a defined amount of reheat time, ie, 45 seconds. Thank you.
The light bulb popped and actually blew up to pieces. I purchased a new appliance bulb and it does not light up. I have now checked the wiring and my voltage meter tells me there is no power coming to the bulb socket. Everything else about the microwave is working fine. What do I need to do to get the light under the microwave working again?
