Gas is getting from the tanK to the carburetor but not into the carburetor what would cause this?
** i realize that this is an old question **The 'needle' which is attached to the float, that opens a port to regulate incoming fuel from the tank is stuck closed, the main jet (integral within the 'bolt' holding the carb bowl on- this has a horizontal port through its base and a port drilled vertically for the passage of fuel) is plugged, or the emulsion tube passages are restricted or plugged.These carburetors are very reasonably priced on line. The questionable quality of fuel often causes corrosion within. I typically disassemble and soak these overnight in a carb cleaner, then insure that the individual passages are clear using compressed air and canned carb cleaner with the tube. (Protect your eyes)

Engine not speeding up when trigger is depressed. When sped up by hand ( moving carb. linkage ) pressure washer seems to work
