HAIRDRYER USE AND CARE Only use the appliance as described in this User Guide. •
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid . •
Do not expose the appliance to exc essive moisture, dust or dirt.•
Never c over or block the r ear grille of the appliance. This may lead •
to overheating. If the rear grille becomes blocked, stop using the
appliance immediately . The rear grille is removable to allow for
blockages to be removed.
Ensure the appliance concentrat or nozzle is free of blockages. •
Unrestricted air ow is r equired for correct operation and to
prevent o verheating.
In the event of overheating , the appliance is tted with a thermal •
safety cut- out which will prevent the appliance from operating.
Allow the appliance to cool bef ore using again.
Do not allo w the appliance to be exposed to rain or moisture •
during use or storage.
Never pull the mains lead to unplug the appliance •
Do not operate the appliance if the mains lead is damaged. •
Always check the appliance for damage prior to use. If any damage •
is observed, do not use the appliance.
The appliance is intended f or indoor use only. •
Always switch the applianc e o after use. •
This appliance has no user ser viceable parts. Do not attempt to •
access the appliance co vers.
This appliance is for personal use only. It is not suitable for •

Always use caution when handling the appliance - it will be hot •
during operation. Never touch hot surfaces - use the handle.
Do not place the appliance in direct contact with hair .•
Do not use the appliance on any one area for a prolonged period •
of time.
Always keep the hair away from the rear grille of the appliance. •
Hair may be sucked into the rear of the appliance causing a
blockage.
Do not direct aerosols or water spra ys toward the appliance .•

Close supervision is necessar y if the appliance is operated near •
children.
Never leave the appliance unattended while switched on, or still •
hot.
Only use the appliance as described in this User Guide.•
Do not use the appliance if aerosol (spray) products are being •
used.
Do not carry the appliance by the mains lead or use the lead as •
a handle.
T ake care to avoid direct contact between the hot sur faces and •
the skin of the face and neck.
The concentrator nozzle will become hot in use. Allow it to cool •
before r emoving it.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY Switch o the appliance before connecting it to the mains •
supply .
Switch o and unplug the appliance after use.•
Ensure that the supplied voltage is in the range indicated and that •
the voltage selector is set correctly
Do not allow the mains lead to touch hot objects.•
Ensure that the appliance is switched OFF before connecting to •
the mains power supply .
T o protect against electric shock , never allow the appliance, the •
mains cable or plug to come into contact with water or any other
liquid.
Never reach f or an y appliance that has fallen into water . Switch o •
the power supply at the mains immediately and unplug. Do not
re-use until the product has been inspec ted and approved by a
qualied electrician.
Always ensure that hands are dr y before operating or adjusting •
any switch on the product or touching the plug and mains supply
connections.
Never leave the appliance unattended when connected to the •
mains power supply .
Keep all ventilation slots , lters etc. unco vered and clear of debris. •
Never drop or insert objects into the openings.
F or additional pr otection, the installation of a r esidual current •
device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30mA is recommended . If in doubt, ask a qualied
electrician for advice.
Never pull the mains lead to unplug the appliance .•
Ensure the mains lead of the appliance is not trapped or pinched .•
Regularly check the mains lead for wear or damage, par ticularly •
where it enters the pr oduc t or plug.
The mains lead and plug for this appliance cannot be replaced; if •
the lead is damaged the appliance should be discarded.
STORAGE The appliance should NEVER be stored whilst hot or whilst still •
connected to the mains. Always ensure the appliance is switched
o , unplugged from the mains and has cooled down completely
before storing .
The handle may be folded to the ‘storage ’ position for compact •
storage when trav elling (see overleaf ).
Never wrap the mains lead around the applianc e. •
Do not hang up by the mains lead, use the hanging loop .•
