The headset is not charging. The lower red lights on the charger are on but the charger light itself does not light and headphone light indicates that the battery is not charged. I have checked the connection from the charger to AC and it seems to be OK. What is the problem ?

Headphones stopped working (charging?) (Charge) Light on top of base doesn't go on when headphones placed on base to charge. Will work with 2 regular AAA batteries. TMR IF245R. Base 1062577 MDR IF245R Headphones Battery BO-HO550-11/2 4V550mAh Ni-MH Received as Present.
