Number of questions: 4my wr10 suddenly quite working. I went up to camp to cahnge batteries, and when i pushed any buttom and let go the red light came on. Back at the boat and underway with autopilot on heading hold, the wr10 did not function, at the boat the red light did not come on when i pushed the function buttons. i really really need this as I am well into my senior years and fish alone on Cayuga Lake almost every day in season. this was a huge help while working a fish.

I had exact same issue after changing batteries. You need to re-pair the remote to the BT receiver. Make sure you follow the instructions "exactly" as per the setup guide. Remove power from the base station. 2. Press and hold the buttons MODE and STBY on the remote for at least 5 seconds until a single quick green LED flashes. The remote is now in Discoverable mode and will stay in this mode for 60 seconds or until base station asks to pair. 3. Power up base station. For the first 10 seconds, the base station will search for Discoverable remotes. 4. Wait till remote quickly flashes the green LED every second, indicating that the base station is asking to pair. 5. Press the AUTO button for at least 1 second to start the pairing. - When succesfully paired: The green LED will stay on for 2 seconds. - When pairing failed: The red LED will stay on for 2 seconds.
