First, consider the fabric type and care instructions. Then, simply turn the program selector knob to choose from options such as cotton, synthetic, delicates, or wool.

To minimize wrinkles, you can utilize the anti-crease (or similar) option available on the control panel. This will periodically tumble the load at the end of the selected program to prevent garments from becoming overly creased.

Number of questions: 47My washing takes many hours to dry, and is not bone dry but slightly damp even on cardboard dry program: 1. Does the dryer need space for ventillation at the back or sides? 2. Is it OK if fiited tight in a cupboard that is ventillated at the front only? (We open the door to the cupboard) 3. If the room is warm or damp does this affect things? 4. If the room is cool, is that better? 5. Where is the air outlet?

Yes, after many hours, the wash is damp , not dry. We will have to dump it and try something else. We had an old Hotpoint , which was fine until it gave up.
Hello, I own a Siemens iq500 tumble dryer and it’s approximately 2 years old. Only recently it has started to omit a smell and it appears to be coming from the water container. As you can’t really see inside of the water container it is hard to tell but I do see a dark looking kind of scum material which I can get to to clean part of the way inside but if I shine my torch I can see a build up which is impossible to get to. What do you recommend to alleviate this problem. I did not expect a tumble dryer as expensive as this one to have this problem. Thank you.
Drier is exactly 6 months old and was used 5 times. I select cotton/cupboard extra dry/fine adjust level III/Drying time shows 2:33/Start flashes- so I press start and the dryer dries for exactly 4 min before alarm signals ‘end’ and dryer stops. This is highly frustrating as washing is obviously not dry. I want throw it out and tell everyone NOT to purchase a Siemens dryer. Please help!!

I have been using the machine with the Mix option/selection and it will only take 48 mins. When i checked it, its been 2hrs. already and it’s still not stopping.. What went wrong?
Why does the timer change of say 51 minutes to about 10 minutes. The buzzer then sounds 10 minutes later and the laundry is still damp?
A key is displayed at top left and machine double ´beeps’. No failure code. Dryer does not start working on any selection.
