Your Shark vacuum cleaner losing suction power can be due to the following causes: - The suction power is not set to maximum - The dust container or dust bag is full - The hose, brush or tube is clogged
A clean filter is important to maintain the vacuum cleaner's suction power. Therefore, check the filter regularly. When a filter is clogged, dust absorption decreases and energy consumption increases.
A commonly used method is to put a little washing powder in the dust container or the dust bag.
For allergy sufferers, vacuuming the house at least twice a week is recommended.
First, insert the powerhead firmly into the wand until it clicks into place. Then, attach the handle to the wand by aligning the dots and twisting it clockwise. Finally, connect the desired accessory to the handle or wand as needed.
The vacuum cleaner features two cleaning modes, carpet and bare floor. To switch between them, simply press the power switch on the handle to turn off the vacuum, then press it again to turn it back on in the desired mode.
Start by detaching the dust cup from the main unit. Remove the foam filter from the dust cup and rinse it under cold water until the water runs clear. Squeeze it gently to remove excess water, then air-dry it completely before reassembling. Additionally, the pre-motor foam and felt filter should be rinsed monthly, but make sure they are completely dry before placing them back.
Begin by ensuring the vacuum is powered off and unplugged. Then, firmly press the button located on the front of the handheld portion while simultaneously pulling upwards. This will detach the handheld portion, allowing you to utilize it for above-floor cleaning tasks.
Regular maintenance of the brush roll ensures optimal performance. Start by powering off and unplugging the vacuum. Use scissors or a blade to gently cut away any hair, fibers, or debris tangled around the brush. Take care not to damage the bristles or belt. Once the brush roll is clean, securely reattach it, ensuring it spins freely.

Question and answer
Number of questions: 22Hi I have a shark rocket corded vacuum. I turn it on motor goes and rollers start rolling while green light on and after about 2 mins red light comes on and rollers stop. Can you please give me suggestions on what to do?
After reviewing the manual for the Shark Rocket HV302 vacuum cleaner, I found the following information regarding the red light and the rollers: - Solid Green Light: When the indicator light on the nozzle is green, it means that the brushroll is spinning and working properly. - Solid Red Light: If the indicator light turns solid red, it indicates that there is a jam in the brushroll area. In this case, you should turn off the vacuum and remove any blockages in the nozzle. Based on the information provided, it seems that the red light turning on and the rollers stopping after approximately 2 minutes could be due to a blockage in the brushroll area. I recommend turning off the vacuum, checking for any obstructions, and removing them if found. After clearing any blockages, you can turn on the vacuum again and see if the issue is resolved.

You can't lock it. I just lay it on the floor.
@Joseph M CAVALLARO cant lock it. But if you take the top part off there is a hook on the bottom front that the pole sits in. Keeps it from being top heavy.
