Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Shark Rocket HV301 below.
Your Shark vacuum cleaner losing suction power can be due to the following causes: - The suction power is not set to maximum - The dust container or dust bag is full - The hose, brush or tube is clogged
A clean filter is important to maintain the vacuum cleaner's suction power. Therefore, check the filter regularly. When a filter is clogged, dust absorption decreases and energy consumption increases.
A commonly used method is to put a little washing powder in the dust container or the dust bag.
For allergy sufferers, vacuuming the house at least twice a week is recommended.
First, connect the handle to the cleaning wand by aligning the arrows and pushing them together until they click. Then, attach the cleaning wand to the floor nozzle by inserting and twisting them together. Finally, attach the desired accessory to the cleaning wand as needed.
To empty the dust cup, remove it from the main body of the vacuum cleaner. Press the release latch and lift the dust cup away. Open the bottom lid of the dust cup by pressing the button, allowing the debris to fall out. Rinse the dust cup with water, ensuring it is fully dry before reassembling and reattaching it to the main body.
Start by checking if there is any blockage in the hose, wand, or brush roll. Clear any debris that may be obstructing the airflow. Additionally, ensure that the dust cup and filters are cleaned and properly installed. If all else fails, check if there is a clog in the main body or if the brush roll needs to be replaced.
The cord length of the Shark Rocket HV301 is approximately 30 feet (9.1 meters), allowing you to clean larger areas without having to constantly switch power outlets.
Regularly remove the brush roll from the floor nozzle by turning it over and unscrewing the brush roll cover. Once removed, use scissors or a brush to remove any hair, fibers, or debris that may have accumulated. It is recommended to check and clean the brush roll every month to maintain optimal performance.

@Rollie seiple
@Rollie seiple You have to take the wheel and brush assembly head apart. Then you can get to that small piece of hose. I had the same thing happen, but I took it apart, unscrewed the hose from the fittings on each end, reversed it, put sealant on each hose end before screwing them back to the 'new' fittings. Put it back together and works great.
