•For page security: lets you login to a password-protected page(s) or
via an on-the-page login box. As an example, apersonalPhoto
Gallery page can be made "private" but still be shared with a selected
group of users (under password control). The login details are
stored in a user group associated with the page which contains a list
of authorized users; the users are added manually by the web
manager of the site or new users can self-register via sign up.
•For Smart object security: provides access control for forums,
blogs, and CMS.
•Forums: for management of users and group moderation.
•Blogs: for adding/removing articles via an Editors group.
•CMS: for managing articles in yourCMS.
Access control is possible via Serif Web Resourcesby using a User List
Smart object (see p.164), which can be created to manage user groups
and users, and how users sign in.
CSS properties
In addition to styling attributes that you apply graphically in the main
WebPlus workspace, like fill colour, outline etc., you can apply some
additional CSS propertiesto objects. CSS properties are stored
efficiently as code rather than being created as part of your graphics, and
are applied dynamically by visitors' web browsers.
CSS properties cannot beapplied to all objects, but where it is supported
can be applied in addition to regular graphical attributes, so you may
need to check both kinds of styling if you want to reformat an object.
CSS properties allow you to specify a borderwith options for spacing
(padding) and corner styles, an outline (simple outer border), a
background image, and visibility(object transparency).
