Does the unit have to have the exhaust hose on it for it work properly? The window fitting doesn't fit very well in our old windows.
When running the a/c, do you need to have a drain bucket for the water in the hose, or do you not drain the hose?
My machine is not saying that the water needs to be drained and just draining its self and when I go to drain it not much water comes out.

Water pours out of the bottom of my unit when the weather is excessively hot. I drain the unit regularly but it still leaks water in the bottom of the unit and pours out onto the floor. When this happens the water in the unit is very small. I drain that off too when I take the unit outside and tip it over to get all the water out. Why does the machine do this. I am doing it 3 times a day.
Did u ever figure it out cuz mine is to I’d like to understand what to do
