Hello, after measuring the pressure on the wrist with the Sanitas SBM 06 blood pressure monitor, the symbol EE repeatedly appears on the display. I have replaced the batteries and the measurement is normal. I'm not exactly sure what type I have, a photo is included. Is there a way to reset the device? Thank you, Šomjak.

Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Sanitas SBM 06 below.

What does systolic pressure mean?

Systolic pressure is the top number that the blood pressure monitor will indicate. Systolic pressure refers to the amount of pressure in your arteries during the contraction of your heart muscle.

What does diastolilc pressure mean?

Diastolic pressure is the lowest number that the blood pressure monitor will indicate. The bottom number refers to your blood pressure when your heart muscle is between beats.

What is a normal blood pressure?

A normal blood pressure is about 120/80.

How do I properly position the cuff on my arm?

It is important to place the cuff approximately 2-3 centimeters above your elbow joint, ensuring it is snug but not too tight.

How can I ensure accurate blood pressure readings?

To obtain accurate readings, it is recommended to be in a relaxed and seated position, with your feet flat on the floor and your back supported. Refrain from talking or moving during the measurement.

What should I do if the readings on the display seem inconsistent or erratic?

Firstly, ensure that the cuff is properly secured and positioned correctly. If the issue persists, it may be helpful to check your batteries and ensure they are sufficiently charged. Additionally, make sure the cuff is not damaged or excessively worn.

How should I interpret the systolic and diastolic values on the display?

The systolic value represents the higher number and corresponds to the pressure in your arteries when your heart contracts. The diastolic value, on the other hand, represents the lower number and reflects the pressure in your arteries when your heart is at rest between beats.

How can I keep track of my blood pressure measurements over time?
