The issue you are experiencing with your Samsung RF28HMEDBSR refrigerator could be due to a few possible reasons. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem: 1. Check the water supply: Ensure that the water line is properly connected and the shut-off valve is opened. Make sure the water supply line tubing is not crushed or kinked. 2. Verify the freezer temperature: The display on the door panel shows the freezer temperature. If it is set to 0 degrees on the left and 35 degrees on the right, but then goes back to "OFF" after a few seconds, there may be an issue with the temperature control. Try selecting a warmer setting on the digital display. 3. Check the ice maker: If the ice maker function is on and the water line is not connected, you may hear a water valve noise from the back of the unit. In this case, press the Ice Maker Off button for less than 3 seconds until the Ice Off Indicator illuminates. 4. Inspect for obstructions: Ensure that the air vent in the freezer is not blocked. Remove any obstructions to allow proper air circulation. Also, make sure there is sufficient space between stored foods for efficient air circulation. If the issue persists after following these steps, it is recommended to contact customer service for further assistance.

The temperature flashing and unresponsive panel issue may be due to a rise in temperature caused by frequent door openings or placing warm food inside. If the blinking continues, try unplugging the refrigerator for about 10 minutes and then plug it back in to reset it. If the issue persists, there may be a communication error between the display and main controller, and you should contact a Samsung Electronics Service Center.

I have had to run the forced defrost about 12 times so far today , also used a hair dryer to melt the glacier in my ice bin . This refrigerator hasn’t been used in months ( previous owner ) so the bin and ice maker were a solid block of ice . Finally after 4 hours , I got the ice bin out . Still working on the ice remaining around the rest of the unit .
What is the size, material type of fittings for water feed to the ice maker tubing from home plumbing water to refrigerator.

My Flex Zone Control is not working. Does not light up. I cannot change temp which is mostly below freezing (ranger 25 to 35 degrees). I suspect it is the thermostat is faulty. Note: the main fridge and the freezer are working well and react property to the controllers on the door pad. Note the wire from inside the drawer to the drawer-front is tested and has no faults. 1. Where is the thermostat on a Samsung RF28HMEDBSR/AA FLEX ZONE CONTROL 2. The other option is there is something wrong with the "damper control assembly.
