Maintaining PC Cards To main tain your PC C ards, f ollow these guid elines:

Keep cards away from e xcessi ve heat , direct sunli ght, and l iquids .

Do no t drop, ben d, fl ex, or crush ca rd s when ha ndling .

Keep dust, oil , water , magnets , and stat ic elec trici ty away from PC Cards.
•

To insert a PC Ca rd into a slot:
1. Push t he slot door in with the PC Card.
2. Align the card with a slot and insert the card into the sl ot until it locks in place. See
“Us ing PC C ards” on page 37.
