You can, but the result is better in dry weather. When the grass is wet, grass clumps can easily form and clog the mower.

Question and answer
Number of questions: 12Hello. 2 questions/problems: Newly purchased Ryobi lawnmower with battery (see pictures). 1: After 15 minutes of operation with fully charged battery, it stopped. The battery was hot. The lawnmower was left to rest until the next day, then another attempt was made with a fully charged battery, but it doesn't start. I have checked the battery, tried turning the red main key, but nothing helps. I have removed the battery and the red main key multiple times. 2: Additionally, there is a small crack in the left starting handle, right next to the attachment entrance. Furthermore, the green start button, which should be pressed first, can only be pressed down by 1-2mm. Is this correct? Wrong?
Why doesn't the new Ryobi OLM1833B start from the handles?
This message has been automatically translatedI have a RyobiOLM1840H.Recently, while mowing, the engine stop and wouldn't restart. A check on the battery indicator indicated that there was power, however the engine would not start over. I called a local mower repairer, who told me that they do not handle Ryobi as it is the sole province of Bunnings. I went to Bunnings, but they do not handle repairs or provide parts. I did not have receipt, for a return to Ryobi, as the mower was gifted to me from an estate, and I believe the mower is some 10 years old. Having bought a set of star screwdriver bits, and watching a YouTube video on checking the wiring system which appeared to be the logical problem, I have become extremely frustrated in not being able to open the motor/wiring casing. Are there any videos that show how to do this, as the star driver bits will not fit all the casing screws. Or can somebody advise the simplest way to unlock the casing. The YouTube videos seemed to skip this process. I look forward to some assistance, and I apologise for the length of this question.
Mid-mow, while emptying the grass catcher, my mower (Ryobi OLM1833B) simply ceased working. I immediately swapped for a fully charged battery, but it still is dead (exactly as if the battery was not charged) I checked the battery another Ryobi device and there is no problem there. Is this a common fail? if so what is causing it?
