Overview

CrystalView DVI EX is a powerful product for resolving most connectivity problems, and delivers remote KVM access throughout offices, factory floors, hospitals, commercial environments, and many other applications. Crystal View DVI EX extends DVI video, keyboard, mouse, audio, and USB 2.0 devices up to 1,640 feet over CATx UTP cable. This distance is considerable longer than most CATx extenders and to reach these distances compressed video is used. The extender maintains a high quality video resolution of up to 1680 x 1050. Stereo audio is bi-directional and can be transmitted simultaneously in either direction across the CATx cable.

The product has 3 integrated USB 2.0 ports on the remote unit and is expandable up to 13 high speed USB 2.0 devices using USB hubs. It supports the entire expanse of USB devices, including keyboards and mice, and other peripherals such as webcams, microphones, speakers, flash drives, etc. The USB ports each have up to 500 ma available for powering high power USB devices. Additionally, all devices are plug-and-play, with no installation or configuration required.
