Yes how do you change the battery in the remote control
It's so simple that Pure don't even bother to tell you in the instructions - just squeeze the spring clip and pull. That's the theory at least! In practice I too found it nigh impossible, so I'm not surprised you turned to the internet to try and find the answer! Unfortunately, if yours is proving obstinate as well then it's just a matter of perseverance. Chances are you'll stab yourself with a small flat screwdriver and/or break at least one finger nails, but it'll come apart eventually! Hopefully the attached photo will give a clue as to what's inside...
An energiszer cr2025 battery was extracted from the remote so the reverse with a new battery would appear to be the solution
