The unit might not be getting enough power. It’s a 1000 watt receiver. I had one for years, but my old wiring started having problems. The receiver would click on and off. I had to switch to a low powered (100 watt) sound bar.
Can I adjust volume levels to be consistent between inputs for different devices?
I have a vsx-1022 and a Sony xbr-65x950g TV. The receiver is connected to the eARC input, a firestick is in HDMI 1 and a Tivo is in HDMI 2. everything works well and the tv remote controls the receiver. I cannot, however get into the home menu to set up my speakers, therefore I do not have surround sound. I have 4 6.5" ceiling speakers, a front speaker on the wall over the TV and a woofer. I get sound, just not surround sound. I need help getting into the menu as the TV reports no signal when I choose the eARC input that the receiver is connected to.
