I have a pioneer DMH-1500nex radio in my Ram based Travato RV and the Sirius option is not showing on the radio. The radio says it’s Sirius ready but Sirius doesn’t show up as a tuner option. I reset the radio to factory default and that didn’t help. What is the process to get this working?

To make the Sirius option work on your Pioneer DMH-1500NEX radio, please follow these steps: 1. Press the "Home" button on the radio. 2. Touch the "SiriusXM" option. 3. You should be able to tune in to Channel 1. If you cannot get Channel 1, make sure that your SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner is installed correctly. 4. Switch to Channel 0 and check the Radio ID. The SiriusXM Radio ID can be found by tuning in to Channel 0. You will need this number to activate your subscription. 5. Activate the service either online or by phone. In the USA, you can activate online at www.siriusxm.com/activatenow or by calling SiriusXM Listener Care at 1-866-635-2349. For Canadian subscriptions, please visit www.xmradio.ca or call 1-877-438-9677. 6. The activation process usually takes 10 to 15 minutes, but it may take up to an hour. Do not turn off the radio while the activation message is displayed.

Well you got screwed my man. I spent $400 additional because my radio read “Serius Radio Ready” versus the lesser model that read,”Serius Radio Capable”. It cost me another $100 to add the adaptor and have it installed after the confusion. Complete bullshit in my opinion. I purchase a DMH-WT7600NEX over the lesser DMH-WT3800NEX, and as I look at the prices from Best Buy, was almost a 100% increase for Sirius, and an HDMI input. The marketing plus “added” abilities is robbery IMHO. Now that I’ve paid for everything installed, all I can tell you is I am a disappointed customer. My phone rarely connects without turning my car on and off two to three times, the hdmi for my work computer rarely connects with ease, and the additional $100 I had to pay for my already existing Sirius subscription was absurd. For the amount spent, I’d expect a much better user experience.

During the daytime hours the camera engagement while backing up, to assist my visibility, so as to not hit a pedestrian or vehicle is extremely poor due to the glare from the sun. What recourse is there for either RAM Promaster or Pioneer to correct this potentially life threatening flaw?

Is there a way to disable the BSM selection button? I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve accidentally clicked on it while trying to adjust the volume. It’s maddening, and very bad design!
