compression technology standard used with MPEG-2 and
MPEG-4. Several applications can be used to encode AAC files,
but file formats and extensions differ depending on the applica-
tion which is used to encode. This unit plays back AAC files
encoded by iTunes.

vide for unlimited data usage, additional charges from
your carrier may apply for accessing app-based connected
content via 3G, EDGE and/or LTE (4G) networks.

Optional Pioneer adapter cable connecting your iPhone to

Access to app-based connected content will depend on the

my iphone pairs automatically with my unit but no audio is coming out but it was working fine and then the audio stopped--i troubleshooted this issue unsuccessfully with a pioneer tech.... could this possibly be due to the need for a firmware update? im looking for the usb port and cant find it to insert my flashdrive...help!!

Purchased a truck with this head unit in it (pioneer avic-5201nex) and the previous owner had an amp and subwoofers hooked up ,which had been removed. The radio works fine but no sound will play through the door speakers. I'm thinking it is possibly a setting that is turned off, but not sure, need help figuring this out
