5.5 Using your phonebook
Your phone can store up to 50 phonebook
memories. Each phonebook entry can
have a maximum of 24 digits for the phone
number and 12 characters for name.
5.5.1 Store a contact in the
phonebook
Press m key in idle mode, scroll
: to PHONEBOOK
and press
<
OK
. Press <
OK
again to enter
NEW ENTRY
.
ENTER NAME
is displayed on the screen.
Enter the name of the contact
(maximum 12 characters) and press
<
OK
.
ENTER NUMBER
is displayed on the
screen.
Enter the number (maximum 24
digits) an d press <
OK
to confirm.
• A validation tone is emitted.
Note
Press

to delete the last digit or
character entered.
To return to idle mod e, press
e key. Tip
You cannot store a new phonebook entry
when the m emory is fu ll. In this c ase, you
have to delete e xisting entries to m ake
space for new entries.
5.5.2 Access phonebook
Press d in idle mode to bro wse the
phonebook entries. Alternatively,
you can press m key, scroll :
to
PHONEBOOK
and press <
OK
,
scroll : to
LIST
and press
<
OK
.
• The phonebook entries will be listed
in alphabetical order.
To view the details, press <
OK
.
Tip
Instead of scrolling
: to browse the phonebook entries, you can press the
numeric key corresponding to the first
letter of the ent ry you wish to locat e. For
example, pressing 2 will show the
entries starting with A. Pressing 2 again
will show the entries sta rting with B, etc...
5.5.3 Modify a phonebook entry
Press m key in idle mode, scroll
: to PHONEBOOK
and press

EDIT

Scroll : to select an entry to edit.
Press <

to display name. Edit the name and press <
