Why is the precision trimmer not cutting hair properly with the Philips MG3710 beard trimmer?

The precision trimmer may not be cutting hair properly with the Philips MG3710 beard trimmer due to the following reasons: 1. Incorrect positioning: Ensure that you are holding the precision trimming head perpendicular to the skin and moving it upwards or downwards with gentle pressure. This will help achieve precise lines and contours. 2. Dull blades: Over time, the blades of the precision trimmer may become dull, resulting in ineffective cutting. Make sure to regularly clean and replace the blades as needed. 3. Hair length: The precision trimmer is designed for creating fine lines and contours close to the skin (to a length of 1/32in./0.5mm). If the hair is longer than this, it may not be effectively cut by the precision trimmer. Consider using the full-size hair trimmer attachment for longer hair. 4. Maintenance: Proper maintenance is essential for optimal performance. Clean the precision trimmer attachment after each use and ensure it is free from any hair or debris that may affect its cutting ability. To use the full-size hair trimmer attachment with the Philips MG3710 beard trimmer, follow these steps: 1. Ensure that the trimmer is switched off. 2. Attach the full-size hair trimmer attachment to the trimmer handle by sliding it onto the teeth of the cutting element. Make sure it is securely attached. 3. If you want to trim your head hair very close to the skin or contour the neckline and area around the ears, use the full-size hair trimmer without a comb. 4. Hold the trimmer at a comfortable angle and move it slowly and smoothly against the direction of hair growth. 5. To contour the hairline around the ears, comb the hair ends over the ears and tilt the trimmer in such a way that only one edge of the cutter blades touches the hair ends. 6. To contour the nape of the neck or sideburns, turn the trimmer and make downward strokes. 7. For even trimming of the hairs on your head, attach a hair comb to the full-size hair trimmer. The appliance comes with 3 hair combs with different length settings. 8. Move the trimmer slowly and smoothly following the natural hairline. By following these steps, you can effectively use the full-size hair trimmer attachment with the Philips MG3710 beard trimmer for various hair trimming purposes.

Which comb attachment should I use for hair trimming with the Philips MG3710 beard trimmer?

The appliance comes with 3 hair combs with different length settings, allowing you to choose the desired hair length for trimming. Align the comb with the attachment area and firmly push it into place until you hear a click or feel it securely attached. 3. Damaged or worn-out attachment: Check the comb attachment for any signs of damage or wear. If the attachment is cracked, broken, or worn out, it may not fit securely onto the trimmer. In such cases, consider replacing the comb attachment with a new one. 4. Cleanliness: Ensure that both the trimmer and the comb attachment are clean and free from any debris or hair buildup.
