Riempimento del serbatoio dell'acqua

Sulla finestra del livello dell'acqua sono presenti le indicazioni da 2 a 10 tazze (da 275 ml a 1375 ml).
Potete usare queste indicazioni per determinare quanta acqua mettere nel serbatoio. Il colore cambia
da chiaro a scuro per ogni tazza di acqua aggiunta.
1 Aprite il coperchio del serbatoio dell'acqua e riempite il serbatoio con acqua (fig. 7) fredda nella
quantità richiesta.
Nota: non riempite il serbatoio dell'acqua oltre l'indicazione di 10 tazze.
Nota: assicuratevi che la quantità di acqua versata nel serbatoio sia compatibile con il numero di
tazze che desiderate preparare. La macchina per caffè utilizza tutta l'acqua presente nel serbatoio.

Utilizzo di caffè in grani

Avvertenza: tenete sempre il coperchio del serbatoio dell'acqua chiuso quando riempite
il contenitore del caffè in grani. In caso contrario eventuali grani di caffè possono cadere
nel serbatoio dell'acqua e bloccare l'ingresso dell'acqua.
1 Aprite il coperchio (fig. 12) del contenitore del caffè in grani.
2 Riempite il doppio contenitore di caffè in grani con caffè in grani. Potete riempire i due contenitori
con due tipi diversi di caffè in grani. Assicuratevi che la quantità di caffè in grani presente nel
doppio contenitore sia sufficiente per la quantità di caffè che si desidera preparare (fig. 13).
Nota: assicuratevi che il doppio contenitore di caffè in grani sia sempre almeno mezzo pieno.
Avvertenza: per evitare che il macinacaffè si blocchi, non usate grani di caffè non
tostati o caramellati. Utilizzate caffè in grani non per espresso, poiché i grani per
espresso potrebbero danneggiare il macinacaffè.
3 Aprite il portafiltro (fig. 14).
4 Posizionate un filtro di carta (tipo 1 x 4 o n. 4) o il filtro permanente nel cestello (fig. 15) del filtro.
5 Chiudete il portafiltro.
6 Ruotate la manopola di regolazione della macinatura per selezionare il tipo desiderato (dalla
macinatura fine a quella grossolana). Sono disponibili nove impostazioni (fig. 16) di macinatura.
Suggerimento: la manopola di regolazione della macinatura consente di scegliere tra 9
impostazioni diverse. Le icone indicano 3 impostazioni ottimali predefinite, ma potete sceglierne
anche altre presenti tra le icone. Vi consigliamo di fare delle prove con le varie impostazioni di
macinatura per trovare quella che preferite.
7 Ruotate il selettore del contenitore per scegliere il contenitore desiderato.
Nota: quando si cambia il contenitore di caffè in grani o il tipo di chicchi di caffè, è probabile che
rimangano residui lasciati dalla macinatura precedente o dal caffè in grani precedentemente
utilizzato. Per evitare che ciò accada, pulite il macinacaffè quando iniziate a utilizzare un nuovo
tipo di caffè in grani.
8 Premete il pulsante dell'intensità (fig. 10). Le icone del caffè in grani iniziano a lampeggiare.
9 Ruotate la manopola di controllo per selezionare l'intensità del caffè desiderata: 1 chicco per un
caffè leggero, 2 chicchi per un caffè medio-forte o 3 chicchi per un caffè forte.
10 Premete il centro della manopola di controllo per confermare l'intensità (fig. 6).
