3 Get started Caution
• Make sur e that you ha ve r ead the saf ety
instructions in the 'Important saf ety
instructions' section befor e you connect and
install your handset.
Connect the base station Warn ing
• Risk of pr oduct damage! Ensur e that the
pow er supply vol tage corr esponds t o the
voltag e printed on the back or the underside
of the phone.
• Use only the suppl ied pow er adapt er t o
charge the batterie s.
Note
• If you subscribe to the digital subscriber line
(DSL) high speed internet servic e thr ough
your telephone l ine, ensure you insta ll a DSL
lter between the telephone l ine cor d and
the pow er sock et. The lt er pr ev ents noise
and caller ID pr oblems caused b y the DSL
interf erenc e. For more inf ormation on the
DSL l ters, c ontact your DSL service pr ovider .
• The type plate is loca ted on the bott om of
the base station.

Connect each end of the power
adapter to:
• the micro USB sock et at the
bottom of the base station;
• the pow er socket on the wall.

Connect each end of the line cor d
to:
• the telephone sock et at the
bottom of the base station;
• the telephone sock et on the
wall.

Connect each end of the power
adapter to (for multi-handset
version onl y):
• the micro USB sock et at the
bottom of the extra handset
charger .
• the pow er socket on the wall.
The base station is equipped with
a micro-USB sock et. It allows
connection t o a power bank as an
alt ernative sour ce of po wer during AC
pow er outage.
