How can I ensure the waterproof performance of the Panasonic SDR-SW21 camcorder?

To ensure the waterproof performance of the Panasonic SDR-SW21 camcorder, follow these steps: 1. After using the camcorder underwater, do not leave it standing for more than 60 minutes without immersing it in fresh water. This is important to prevent compromising the waterproof performance. 2. Wipe off any dirt or water droplets on the camcorder using a lint-free cloth. This helps to keep the unit clean and free from any potential damage. 3. Rinse the camcorder by moving it back and forth in a shallow container of fresh water while opening and closing the LCD monitor. Leave the unit immersed for up to 30 minutes, and then wipe it dry using a lint-free cloth. 4. Lift the flaps upright and rinse the inside with running tap water to remove any salt particles. Wipe the flaps dry using a lint-free cloth. 5. Avoid using hot air from a hairdryer or chemicals such as benzine, thinner, alcohol, or soap to dry or clean the camcorder. These substances can cause deformation or deterioration, compromising the waterproof performance. 6. If the camcorder is splashed or sprayed with detergent, soap, water from a hot spring, bath salts, suntan oil, sunscreen lotion, or chemicals, wipe off the droplets immediately. 7. After rinsing off the camcorder, leave it to dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated, shady location with its water drain holes facing down. This ensures that any remaining moisture evaporates. Remember to inspect the camcorder's waterproof performance periodically, especially after it has been subjected to a strong shock or every three years. If you have any concerns or need assistance, it is recommended to consult with a service center representative.

Keep the camcorder away from electromagnetic equipment such as microwave ovens, TVs, and video games. Electromagnetic wave radiation can disrupt the pictures and sound of the camcorder. 5. Do not use the camcorder near cell phones, as this can result in noise that adversely affects the pictures and sound. 6. If the camcorder is adversely affected by electromagnetic equipment and stops functioning properly, turn it off, remove the battery or disconnect the AC adaptor, and then reinsert the battery or reconnect the AC adaptor before turning it back on. 7. Do not use the camcorder near radio transmitters or high-voltage lines, as this can adversely affect the recorded pictures and sound. 8.
