This projector supports the attachment of the USB memory. Attach the USB memory to the <VIEWER/PAIRING>
terminal when using the Memory Viewer function, the pairing function, or the data cloning function.

For the method of pairing the projector and the USB memory, refer to “Using the pairing function” (x page 194). By pairing, the connection
information between the image transfer application software “Plug and Share”, and the projector and the USB memory is written into the
USB memory.
fFor the data cloning function, refer to the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [DATA CLONING] (x page 127).
Notes on use
Observe following.
fDo not disassemble or modify the USB memory.
fDo not apply strong impact on the USB memory.
fDo not pour liquid such as water or get it wet.
fDo not place foreign object into the terminal section.
fDo not touch the metal terminal with hand or metal.
fDo not leave the USB memory in a place with high humidity or dust.
fDo not leave the USB memory in a place where static electricity or electromagnetic radiation is generated.
fStore the USB memory appropriately in a location that small children cannot reach.
fImmediately remove the USB memory from the projector when smoke or odor is noticed, and contact the
manufacturer.
fDo not remove the USB memory from the projector while reading or writing the data.
USB memory that can be used with the projector
This projector supports the commercially available USB 2.0 compatible USB memory formatted in FAT16 or
FAT32.
fOnly the single partition structure is supported.
Note
fThe USB memory with a security function cannot be used for pairing.
fFree space of approximately 30 MB is required in the USB memory used for pairing.
Attaching the USB memory
1) Insert the USB memory all the way in to the <VIEWER/PAIRING> terminal.
Attention
fTake care of the orientation of the terminal when inserting the USB memory so that it will not get damaged.
fDo not use a USB extension cable or a USB hub, and directly insert the USB memory into the <VIEWER/PAIRING> terminal of the
projector.
fDo not insert the USB memory into the <DC OUT> terminal. The USB memory cannot be used on the <DC OUT> terminal.
Note
fThe USB memory can be attached even when the projector is turned on.
fThe pairing data is written to the USB memory when the pairing function is used. If there is a write protection switch on the USB memory to
be used, set it so that data can be written.
