Refer to this section when there is a problem with the wireless LAN connection or connection with the mirroring
function (noted as “mirroring connection” hereafter).
Wireless LAN connection
r Wireless LAN connection cannot be established.
fTo use the wireless LAN function with the projector, it is necessary to attach the optional Wireless Module
(Model No.: ET-WM300).
For details on how to attach the optional Wireless Module (Model No.: ET-WM300), refer to “Attaching the
Wireless Module” (x page 51).
fIs the [NETWORK/USB] menu → [WIRELESS LAN] set to [DISABLE]?
fConrm the settings of the device.
fIs there an obstacle between the device and the projector? Or, is the device too far away from the projector?
fSet the [NETWORK/USB] menu → [WIRELESS LAN] to [DISABLE] once, and then perform the wireless LAN
connection operation again. Restoration process of the built-in Wireless Module is performed, which may enable
the connection.
r Image of the Panasonic APPLICATION input is disrupted.
fUnder certain reception conditions, the image may be disrupted. In such a case, try the following.
gMove the device to perform wireless LAN connection closer to the projector.
gInstall the projector away from other device that emits electromagnetic radiation, such as microwave oven,
gaming device, etc. If it does not improve, refrain from using other devices that emit electromagnetic radiation.
gThe bandwidth of the wireless may not be sufcient when multiple wireless LAN devices are connected to a
single router. Turn off the devices which are not used or refrain from using other devices.
gWhere possible, try not use the projector in a location where excessive static electricity or noise is generated.
Mirroring connection
r Mirroring connection is not established.
fIs the input set to MIRRORING?
fIs the [NETWORK/USB] menu → [WIRELESS LAN] set to [DISABLE]?
fConrm the settings of the device.
fIs there an obstacle between the device and the projector? Or, is the device too far away from the projector?
fConnection may not be established correctly right after the device has restored from the sleep status, or right
after switching the logon user. Turn the wireless LAN of the device off once and then on again, or restart the
device.
r The connection is disconnected and the image is not updating.
fTry the following when the mirroring connection is disconnected.
gWith the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [ECO MANAGEMENT] → [STANDBY MODE] set to [ECO], turn the
power of the projector off once and then back on.
gAfter turning off the projector, reconnect the plug of the power cord to the outlet.
gRestart the device.
r Image of the MIRRORING input is disrupted.
fUnder certain reception conditions, the image may be disrupted. In such a case, try the following.
gMove the device to perform wireless LAN connection closer to the projector.
gInstall the projector away from other device that emits electromagnetic radiation, such as microwave oven,
gaming device, etc. If it does not improve, refrain from using other devices that emit electromagnetic radiation.
gThe bandwidth of the wireless may not be sufcient when multiple wireless LAN devices are connected to a
single router. Turn off the devices which are not used or refrain from using other devices.
gWhere possible, try not use the projector in a location where excessive static electricity or noise is generated.
gWhen the [NETWORK/USB] menu → [WIRELESS LAN] is set to [USER], it may improve when setting is
changed to [SIMPLE] or [M-DIRECT]. End the mirroring connection once, and re-connect.
