f The [ECO MANAGEMENT] screen is displayed.
3) Press as to select [LIGHT POWER].

f The items will switch each time you press the button.
[NORMAL]
Set this item when high luminance is required. The light power is 100 % and the estimated runtime is
approximately 20 000 hours
*1
.
[ECO]
The luminance will decrease compared to [NORMAL], but set this item to suppress the reduction in
luminance against the runtime of the light source. The light power is 70 % and the estimated runtime
is approximately 24 000 hours
*1
.
[QUIET]
Select this item to prioritize the operation with low noise. The light power is 70 % and the estimated
runtime is approximately 20 000 hours
*1
.
*1 The runtime is an estimation when the [PICTURE] menu → [DYNAMIC CONTRAST] is set to [2].
Note
fUnder inuences of characteristics of each light source, conditions of use, installation environment, etc., the runtime may be shorter than the
estimation.
fRuntime is a time until the luminance of the light source to become about half when using the projector continuously. The runtime is just an
estimate, and is not the warranty period.
fIf the runtime exceeds 10 000 hours, replacement of the components inside the projector may be required. Consult your dealer for details.
fWhen anything other than [NORMAL] is set, the setting in the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [LightID] is disabled, and this item is xed to
[OFF].
Setting [AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION]
Sets if the [AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION] function to adjust the light power depending on the brightness of the
installed location is enabled or not.
1) Press as to select [ECO MANAGEMENT].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [ECO MANAGEMENT] screen is displayed.
3) Press as to select [AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION].

case, it may not operate properly even if [AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION] is set to [ON].
fWhen the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [LightID] is set to [EXTERNAL CONTROL] or [INTERNAL ID], [AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION] is
set to [OFF].
