I purchased Panasonic KX-TGEA20 cordless phone. On the box it says that I need a base unit (sold separately) so that I can use the locator on this unit to start my new phone. This was not mentioned before I purchased this unit. Where can I get the base unit and how much this costs?
We have Panasonic KX-TGEA20 with a base unit and 3 other handsets. We can no longer listen to messages on the handsets - used to just dial the number and would get new and saved messages. Now we can only get messages from the base unit. After calling number on handsets it says “you have no messages” even when there are messages on the base unit.
How do I turn on the Voicemail message indicator on my Panasonic KXTGEA20 cordless phone? It used to appear in the display section where the caller ID displays. I had to replace my modem and ever since then, when I receive a Voicemail message, it no longer displays so therefore, I don't know if I have a message pending.

I would like to check to see if my message is working. Callers don’t get it and receive a sound instead as if there is something interfering.
I get a dial tone, I dial my number and it's fast busy sound, no matter what number I call.
