Making calls 1 Lift the handset and dial the phone number .
L T o correct a digit, press ^.
2 Press {C} or ] .
3 When you finish talking, press {ic} or place the handset on t he
base unit or charger .
Using the speakerphone
1 Dial the phone number and press {s}.

2 When you finish talking, press {ic}.

L For best performance, use the
speakerphone in a quiet environment.

Adjusting the receiver or speaker
volume
Press {^} or {V} repeatedly while
talking.
Making a call using the redial l ist
The last 10 phone numbers dialled are
stored in the redial list (each 24 digits
max.).
1 j (right soft ke y) or {> } ( R)
2 {V}/ {^}: Select the desired phone
number .
3 {C}/ {s} L If {s} is pressed and the other
party’ s line is engaged, the unit
automatically redials multiple
times. While the handset i s
waiting to redial, the ringer
indicator flashes. T o cancel,
press {ic}.
Erasing a number in the redial list

Pause (for PBX/l ong dist an ce service
users)
A pause is som etimes required when
making calls using a PBX or long
distance service. When storing a c alling
card acces s number and/or P IN in the
phonebook, a pause is also needed
(page 20).
Example: If you need to dial the li ne
access numbe r “0” when making outside
calls with a PBX:

2 Dial the phone number . i {C}
Note:
L A 3 seco nd pause is inserted eac h
time l is pressed. Repeat as
needed to cr eate longer pauses.
Answering calls When a call is being received, the ringer
indicator flashes rapidly .
1 Lift the handset and pr ess {C} or
{s} when the unit rings.
L Y ou can also answer t he call by
pressing any dial key from {0 } to
{9 }, {*}, or {# }. (Any key
answer feature)
2 When you finish talking, press {ic} or place the handset on the
base u nit or charger .
