Greeting message When the unit ans wers a call, callers
hear a greeting message. Y ou can
record your own greeting message or
use a pre-recor ded greeting mess age.
Recording your greeting message Y ou can record your own greeting
message (2 m inutes and 30 seconds
max.).

3 Hold the handset about 20 cm away and speak clearly into the
microphone.
4 Press O to stop recording. 5 {ih} Using a pre-recorded greeting message If you erase or do not record y our own
greeting message, the unit plays a pre-
recorded greeting m essage for callers
and asks them to leave a message. If the
message recording time (page 39) is set
to “G reeting Only”, caller mess ages
are not recorded and the unit plays a
diff erent pre-rec orded greeting messa ge
asking callers to call again.
