Press {V} or {^} repeate dly during a call to
increase or decrease the volume.
Each time you press {V} or {^} the volume
level will change.
Redialing the last number dialed
Press {C} or {s} , then press {REDIAL }.
Making a call us ing the r edial list
The last ten different phone numbers
dialed from the cordless handset are
stored in the redial list.
1 Press {REDIAL }.
L The last numb er dialed is displayed.
L If “
No items stored” is displayed,
the list is emp ty .
2 Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to scroll
through the list, or press {REDIAL }
repeatedly until the desired numbe r is
displayed.
L T o exit the l ist, press {OFF }.
3 Press {C} or {s} .
Dialing speed dial numbers
Refer to “S toring speed dial numbers” on
page 9 0 for details of how to set-up speed
dial keys.
1 While in standby mode, press and hold a dial key ({0 } to {9 } ) for more than
three seconds.
L The assigned speed dial for the ke y is
displaye d.
L If a speed dia l number has not been
assigned to this key , “
No Number” is
displaye d.
2 Press {C} or {s} .
L Y ou can press a li ne key inste ad of
pressing {C} or
{s}.
L The speed d ial number is called.
Note:
L This function can be used with the
handset or in handsfree mode
(page 31).
Answering calls Four external calls can be hand led
simultaneously (or two intercom calls) by
the base unit and thre e cordless handsets
(or by four cordless handsets). When a cal l
is received, the unit rings and “Incoming
call” is displayed. The called line
indicator on the base unit flashes quickly ,
and the line status icon flashes quickly on
the cordless handset display .
The line is automatically selected when the
call is answered.
If you subscribe to a Caller ID service, the
calling party’ s information will be displayed
after the first ring (page 47).
T o view the Caller ID info rmation, wait until
the second ring to answer a call.
When an intercom call (page 35) and an
external call are re ceived at the sa me time,
the information for each call will be
displayed alternately . Pre ss {SP-PHONE }
or go off-hook (using the base unit) or
press {C} or {s} (using the cordless
handset) to answer the intercom call.
Press the line key to answer the extern al
call.
Note:
L When the base unit and cordless
handset ringer vo lumes are set to OFF ,
they will not ring.
“Ringer off ” is also
displayed while the base un it/cordless
handset(s) is in standby mode
(page 79).
