records the day and time of eac h
messag e. Make sure the date and time
have be en set (page 1 4).
Memory capacity The tot al rec ording ca pacity (includ ing your
greeting m essage , caller m essages , voice
memos, audib le call a nnounc ement s, an d
recorded conve rsations ) is ab out 15
minutes . A maxim um of 64 message s can
be record ed.

Turning the answering system on/off Using the base unit Press {Answer on } to turn on/ of f the
answ ering syste m.
L When the answer ing syst em is turned on,
the ans wer on i ndica tor light s.
L When the an swer ing sys tem is turne d off ,
the ans wer on i ndicator tu rns of f and t he
unit automati cally plays new mes sages, if
any .
Using the handset 1
Press {j/OK } .
2 Select “Answer System ”, then pre ss
{>}.
3 Select “Answer On ” or “Answer Off ”,
then press {>}.
4 Press {ih} . Note:
L When the answer ing syst em is turned on,

Greeting message When the unit a nswers a call, c allers are
greet ed by a gr eeting mess age. Y ou can
record y our o wn gree ting mes sage or use a
prerecord ed gree ting mes sage.
Recording a greeting message Y ou can rec ord your own greeting mess age
(2 minu tes an d 30 seco nds m ax.).
