Creating private mailboxes Private m ailboxes can be u sed for s ending
and recei ving SMS me ssages . Each priva te
mailbox is p assword protected .
1 Press {j/O K }.
2 Select “SMS ”, t hen press {>}.
3 Select “Public ”, the n press {>}.
4 Select “Settings ”, then pr ess {>} .
5 Enter “0000 ” (defa ult base unit PIN) .

6 Select “Private Mailb ox”, then
pres s {>} .
7 Select the desired new mailbox number (“Mailbox1 ” to “Mail box6”), then
pres s {>} .
8 Enter a name for the mailbox (5 charact ers max., pa ge 46), then press
{j/OK }.
9 Enter a 4-digit password for the mailbox, then press {j/OK }.
10 Selec t “Save ” , then pres s {>}.
11 Press {ih} . Note:

7 Select the desired mailbox name, then pres s {>} 2 times .
8 Enter the mailbox’s 4-digit password. 9 Edit the mailbox name (5 characters max., p age 46 ), then p ress {j/OK }.
L T o erase the mai lbox, press and hold
{C/ T }, press {j/OK } , s elect “Yes ”,
press {>} , then pre ss {ih} to
finish.
