When charg ing, the ba ttery icon is sho wn as
follows.

L It tak es 7 hours to fully ch arge the
batter ies, howev er , you can use the
handset before the batteri es are fully
charged.
L Clean the charge conta cts (p age 10 ) of
the hand set an d base un it with a s oft, dry
cloth on ce a mon th, otherw ise the
batter ies may not charge pro perly . Cl ean
more often if th e uni t is expos ed to grea se,
dust or h igh hu midity .

Note:
L When 7 flashes , recharge the hands et
batterie s. 7 will conti nue to flash until
the batt eries h ave been charged f or at
least 1 5 minute s.
L If th e handset is turned off, i t will be t urned
on auto maticall y when it i s placed on the
base un it.
