1. Inser t the document during fax reception or
fa x memor y transmis sion.
2. Enter the fax number using the dial k e ypad,
one-touch dial or navigator directory .
3. Press { SCAN} or { FA X S TA R T }.
L The document will be f ed into th e unit and
scanned into memory . The unit wi ll then send
the data. If the document e xceeds the
memor y capacity , transmissio n will be
cancelled. Y ou m ust send the entire
document manually .
Printing a sending report A sending repor t provides y ou with a printed
record of transmission results . T o print sending
repor ts, make sure f eature #401 is activ ated
(page 56). F or an ex planation of error messages,
see page 60.
Printing a journal report A journal repor t provides y ou with a printed
record of the 30 most recent fax es. T o print
manually , see page 78. T o print automatically
after ev er y 30 new f ax transmissions and
receptions, mak e sure f eature #402 is activ ated
