the machine has ample suction when testing without the carpet head.after fitting the revoling head there and using only little dirt is in the bag

yes the hose just below where the hose extends has seperated can I re-attach this, it just keeps falling off.
My Neo has lost suction. Bag seems ok. Filter is clean. Motor is running but nothing is happening in tube. My son had been hoovering an old sofa with it and then suction just stopped. Can you help?
There is very poor suction from my Coupe Neo, the bag is nearly empty and the filter seems to be ok. the hose is clear and even with the hose disconnected its poor. Is there any other obvious problem? The hoover is about 6-7 months old
