Our Miele dishwater G 846 SCu Plus has a problem - Serial No. 26/63525633. Upon turning on with the relevant program selected, the machine, as usual, first empties any residue of old water. It then starts filling with clean water, when full it stops and a very faint clicking takes place every c.10 seconds. To remove the standing fresh water, the machine has to be turned off, the stop program selected, turned on, program selected and start button pressed. From my description is this a simple repair job, I am reluctant to call out an engineer because I fear the cost and the engineer may say it's not worth repairing? I seek your advice please.
