For recirculation mode Fit the charcoal filt er (see “Cleaning
and care”).
Electrical connection Refer to the notes in “Electrical
connection” and “Warning and
Safety instructions” before
connecting to the electricity supply .
Connect the cooker hood to the
electricity supply .
Functional check T o do this, switch the fan on.
- In air extr action mode air should not
come out of the recir culation grille at
the front of the cooker hood.
- In recir culation mode the air should
come out of the recir culation grille at
the front of the cooker hood.
If this does not happen, the deflector is
not installed correctly (see “Deflect or ”).
Electrical connection Refer to the notes in “Electrical
connection” and “Warnings and
safety notes” befor e connecting to
the power supply .
The connection data (voltage,
frequency) on the data plat e must
match the data of the mains power
supply . The position of the data plate is
explained in the “Service” chapter .
The cooker hood is equipped with a
power cable and a safety plug.
The connection must be made via a
socket which remains accessible aft er
the cooker hood has been installed. If
the socket is no longer accessible after
installation or if you are using a har d-
wired connection, ther e must be a
suitable means of disconnection for all
poles in the household electrical system
which meets the requir ements of
overvoltage category III.
Safety can be increased by fitting the
appliance with a residual curr ent
device.
Only qualified electricians are permitt ed
to carry out work on the household
electrical system.
This appliance must be earthed.
Connection for air extraction If the cooker hood is used at the same time as a heating appliance
that relies on o xygen from the same
room, ther e is a risk in certain
circumstances of t oxic fumes
building up.
It is essential that the “Warning and
Safety” instructions are observed.
The cooker hood should be installed
according t o local and national
building regulations. Seek appr oval
from the building inspect or where
necessary .
Only use smooth pipes or flexible
exhaust ducting made fr om
approved non-flammable mat erials
for exhaust ducting.

throughput with the lowest noise levels,
