The cleaner the filters, the better the air quality. This is why it is recommended to clean the filters of your Magnavox air conditioner at least four times a year.
Check if the air filters are clean and not clogged with dust or debris. Dirty filters can restrict airflow and reduce cooling efficiency.
Ensure that the air conditioner is placed on a flat and stable surface, as vibrations can cause noise. Also, check if there are any loose parts or objects obstructing the fan blades.
Use the energy-saving mode, which adjusts the cooling capacity based on the room temperature. Ensure that windows and doors are properly sealed to prevent cool air from escaping and hot air from entering.
Verify if the drain hose or drain pan is blocked or clogged, preventing proper drainage. Also, make sure the air conditioner is tilted slightly downwards to facilitate water flow.
Press the "Timer" button on the remote control, then use the arrow keys to adjust the desired time for the air conditioner to turn on or off. Confirm the settings by pressing the "Enter" or "OK" button.
