Compruebe su correcto funcionamiento pulsando
el "Casquillo" por el interior de la tapa, si cede, es
correcto (Fig.2).
LLENADO DE LA OLLA:

Frequently Asked Questions

Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Magefesa Arian below.

Can I use my pans on induction?

Nowadays almost all pans are suitable for induction. You can easily test whether your old pans can also be used on induction by holding a magnet against the bottom of the pan. If the magnet stays on the pan, your old pan is suitable for induction.

How do I prevent the soup from boiling over while cooking in the Magefesa Arian pan?

To prevent the soup from boiling over while cooking in the Magefesa Arian pan, follow these steps: 1. Fill the Magefesa Arian pan with the desired amount of soup, making sure not to exceed 2/3 of its capacity. If the soup contains ingredients that may expand or produce foam, such as pasta or vegetables, only fill the pan up to half its volume to prevent obstruction of the pressure regulating valve. 2. Place the pan on the heat source and set it to the desired temperature. Ensure that the pressure regulating valve is set to position 1 for low pressure cooking or position 2 for high pressure cooking. 3. As the pan heats up, you will notice small amounts of necessary steam coming out through the pressure regulating valve to expel the air from inside the pan. This is normal and helps build up pressure. 4. Once the pressure regulating valve closes off the steam outlet and the pan reaches the desired pressure, reduce the heat intensity to maintain the pressure. 5. Monitor the cooking process and adjust the heat as needed to prevent the soup from boiling over. If the soup starts to bubble vigorously or the pressure regulating valve releases excessive steam, reduce the heat further. By following these steps, you can prevent the soup from boiling over while cooking in the Magefesa Arian pan.

Why is my sauce not thickening properly in the Magefesa Arian pan?

To ensure that your sauce thickens properly in the Magefesa Arian pan, follow these steps: 1. Use the appropriate amount of liquid: Make sure you have enough liquid in the pan to create a sauce, but not too much that it becomes watery. Follow the recipe guidelines for the recommended amount of liquid. 2. Adjust the heat: Start by cooking the sauce on medium heat to allow it to simmer and reduce. If the sauce is not thickening, increase the heat slightly to help evaporate the excess liquid. 3. Stir frequently: Stir the sauce regularly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan and to distribute the heat evenly. This will help the sauce thicken more evenly. 4. Add a thickening agent: If the sauce is still not thickening to your desired consistency, you can add a thickening agent such as cornstarch or flour. Mix the thickening agent with a small amount of cold water to create a slurry, then gradually add it to the sauce while stirring continuously. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few more minutes to activate the thickening agent. 5. Adjust seasoning: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed with salt, pepper, or other spices. Remember that the flavors will concentrate as the sauce thickens, so be cautious with adding additional seasoning. By following these steps, you should be able to achieve a properly thickened sauce in the Magefesa Arian pan.

How do I prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the Magefesa Arian pan?

To prevent pasta from sticking to the bottom of the Magefesa Arian pan, follow these steps: 1. Use an adequate amount of water: Fill the Magefesa Arian pan with enough water to fully submerge the pasta. As a general rule, use 1 liter of water for every 100 grams of pasta. 2. Bring the water to a rolling boil: Place the pan on the heat source and bring the water to a vigorous boil before adding the pasta. This will help prevent the pasta from clumping together. 3. Add salt to the boiling water: Once the water is boiling, add a generous amount of salt. This will enhance the flavor of the pasta and help prevent it from sticking. 4. Stir the pasta immediately after adding: As soon as you add the pasta to the boiling water, stir it gently with a fork or a pasta spoon. This will prevent the strands from sticking together and to the bottom of the pan. 5. Cook the pasta according to the recommended cooking time: Refer to the package instructions or the manual for the recommended cooking time. Avoid overcooking the pasta, as it can become mushy and more likely to stick. 6. Drain the pasta promptly: Once the pasta is cooked to your desired level of doneness, immediately drain it in a colander. Avoid letting the pasta sit in the hot water, as it can continue to cook and become sticky. By following these steps, you can prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the Magefesa Arian pan and ensure a perfectly cooked pasta dish.

Why are my potatoes not cooking evenly in the Magefesa Arian pan?

To ensure that your potatoes cook evenly in the Magefesa Arian pan, follow these steps: 1. Cut the potatoes into uniform sizes: To promote even cooking, make sure to cut the potatoes into similar-sized pieces. This will ensure that they cook at the same rate. 2. Use an adequate amount of water: Fill the Magefesa Arian pan with enough water to fully submerge the potatoes. This will help distribute the heat evenly and prevent uneven cooking. 3. Bring the water to a boil before adding the potatoes: Start by placing the pan on the heat source and bringing the water to a rolling boil. Once the water is boiling, add the potatoes. 4. Cook the potatoes on medium heat: Maintain a steady simmer by adjusting the heat to medium. Cooking the potatoes on too high heat can result in uneven cooking, with the outer layers becoming overcooked while the center remains undercooked. 5. Stir the potatoes occasionally: Gently stir the potatoes occasionally during the cooking process. This will help ensure that all sides of the potatoes come into contact with the hot water, promoting even cooking. 6. Test for doneness: After the recommended cooking time, test the potatoes for doneness by inserting a fork or knife into a potato. If it easily slides in and out without resistance, the potatoes are cooked evenly. By following these steps, you can achieve evenly cooked potatoes in the Magefesa Arian pan.

How do I ensure that the vegetables are cooked to the desired level of tenderness in the Magefesa Arian pan?

To ensure that the vegetables are cooked to the desired level of tenderness in the Magefesa Arian pan, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the vegetables: Wash and chop the vegetables into uniform pieces. This will help ensure even cooking. 2. Add water to the pan: Fill the Magefesa Arian pan with an appropriate amount of water. The water should be enough to cover the vegetables but not submerge them completely. 3. Place the vegetables in the pan: Add the prepared vegetables to the pan, ensuring they are evenly distributed. 4. Set the heat: Place the pan on the heat source and set it to medium heat. This will allow the vegetables to cook gently and evenly. 5. Cover the pan: Place the lid on the pan to create a steamy environment. This will help cook the vegetables more quickly and evenly. 6. Monitor the cooking process: Check the vegetables periodically to ensure they are cooking to the desired level of tenderness. Use a fork or knife to test their doneness. If they are still too firm, continue cooking for a few more minutes. 7. Adjust the cooking time: If the vegetables are cooking too quickly or becoming too soft, reduce the heat slightly or shorten the cooking time. By following these steps, you can ensure that the vegetables are cooked to the desired level of tenderness in the Magefesa Arian pan.
