I have a Mx Master 3 Mac. No receiver was in the box even though the box was sealed. The left mouse button no spring to it. How do I use a transceiver ? How do I get the "spring" back into the left button?

I just purchased an MX 3 Master, running windows 8.1, with Bitdefender and Malware bites (allowed exemption in both for its software) mouse works as ordinary one, cannot open software to set any preferences, and install didn't create a desktop icon either, tried running as admin, no luck. Any ideas on what the problem is, before I return it
to the store?

My box for MX Master 3 did not come with a transceiver and this is how I want to use the mouse. Additionally, the left mouse button does not have any spring to it.
