Can the date and time imprint be added to pictures that are already taken? Fz55 sometimes doesn't imprint even though setup says it should be OK. Any suggestions?

My camera’s display has stopped working. I’ve only had it for a month and haven’t dropped/waterlogged it. All other functions work (ie it still takes photos and I can download them to my phone), but I just can’t see the photo I’m taking. I was wondering if there was a way to reset the camera? I can’t see the functions to do so on the screen, so I’m sure you can see my dilemma. I’ve taken the battery out, taken out the SD and charged it overnight and none of the above have helped the display come back on. The button that you press to view the gallery is flashing orange sometimes, but will go back to green, if this helps. Let me know if this can be fixed at all please, it’s genuinely come out of nowhere. Thanks in advance, aviane.
