I've owned this camera for a couple years now, but have only used it a couple times, because of the lighting. Whenever I try to take pictures outside, it turns out almost all white.... too much light. I've tried turning it to the lowest lighting, but it still comes out too bright. What else do I need to do?

Is there some kind of remote I can get. To replace the timer and getting up and down every picture
