Basic functions

Turning on the system: Press the button on the remote or on top of the device.
The message
"HELLO" will appear on the display.
Turning off in standby: Press the button on the remote or on top of the device. The message
"GOODBYE" will appear and the device will switch itself into standby mode.

Volume control

On the remote control: Press the buttons VOL+ to increase the volume and VOL- to lower it.
On the main device: Press the volume control to increase and decrease the volume.
If you choose the minimum volume, the display will show
"VOL MIN" and for maximum volume "VOL
MAX"
will briefly appear in the display.
To turn off the volume temporarily: Press the button on the remote control. "MUTE" will flash on
the display. When you press the button again, the volume is restored.

Adjusting the sound

You can raise or lower the bass and treble for your favourite music.
On the main device: Press the BASS or TREBLE controls, to adjust the gain level in increments of 2 from -8 to
+8.

Equaliser

On the remote control: Press the EQ button to choose the following settings in sequence: POP -> FLAT ->
JAZZ -> CLASSIC -> ROCK

Using the CD und USB functions

Preparation

Loading a CD
1. Press the button on the main device or remote to open the CD compartment
2. Insert a CD with the printed side facing upwards in the CD compartment
3. Press the button on the main device or remote to close the CD compartment
Removing a CD
1. Press the button on the main device or remote to open the CD compartment
2. Carefully remove the CD from the CD compartment
3. Press the button on the main device or remote to close the CD compartment
Connecting USB devices
1. Press the button to put the device in standby mode.
2. Connect the USB device to the USB port on the rear of the device.

Disconnecting USB devices

1. Press the button to choose standby mode.
2. Remove the USB device from the USB port.
