I am trying to connect my JBL Link Music device to my Windows 10 laptop. The device is found and displays as JBL Link Music 991F. But when I try to connect it comes up with a message stating, "Press Connect if the PIN on JBL Link Music 991F matches this on (and displays a PIN which changes each time I try to connect). If I just press Connect, I get a message stating, "Try to connect your device again
How do I connect my JBL Link to my Mac system? I've tried using the Apple Home app on my iPhone and followed all the prompts, but I have no code to scan and placing my phone next to the speaker has no effect. Apple suggests entering an 8-digit HomeKit setup code, but I don't have it. It suggests resetting the speaker, which I did but nothing changes. Last it suggests referring to the manufacturer's guide... but I find nothing there at all to help. In fact there's not much there at all.
Agree. Having same issues. After several attempts and some frustration, Spotify has now picked up one of the 2 speakers I bought (as a set). :((Are any of the questions here actually answered??
