If your device does not connect to the speaker, hold the power button on the speaker down until you hear a beep. It should only take a few seconds. I tried everything on the Internet and thought why not try that and it worked!
Thank you very very much! I was so puzzled and didn't know what's wrong with the speaker and the phone, didn't know why nothing happened, even thought the JBL speaker was bad until, I read your simple answer. I don't know how to thank you. You've made my day!

My Flip shows that it connected to my Surface computer but no sound comes out

My JBL Flip2 bluetooth speaker cut off in the middle of a song. The power then went off and it will not turn back on even when plugged in. The first light blinks when plugged in but still no power. I have had this speaker for one to one and a half years. Please advise.
